After all, it is very difficult to speak about virtue without falling into a type of moralizing that often gives people guilty consciences. That really is not my cup of tea ! As for prudence, the very word seems to be synonymous with timidity or hesitation. True, it is one of the four cardinal virtues, but who today can name these virtues ? During my ten years of philosophical and theological studies, I had no course on this generally virtue, considered by most as old-fashioned.
